Making of the NYMVAE Quilt - Finished!

 Jen and I have finished the quilt, and we couldn't be more pleased!  This is the second quilt we have ever made.  The first was for NYMVAE's last gala, and was also a log cabin pattern using fabrics from NYMVAE's costume fabric collection.  Well, we learned a few things!  We are still very proud of that first quilt, but on this one the back looks almost as good as the front.

This quilt is also larger, big enough to cover the top of a twin sized bed.  And the 100% cotton batting adds such a comforting weight.  We've enjoyed handling the assembled quilt in its last passes through the machine, knowing it will be warm and welcome addition to someone's home.
