Gala Auction

NYMVAE has gathered a wide array of Auction Items for the upcoming 10th Anniversary Gala. Below is just a preview of what you can expect to see.

The NYMVAE Quilt 

A stunning handmade log cabin quilt made by NYMVAE Board members Jennifer E. Learned and Juli Borst using material from NYMVAE's costume fabric collection. This colorful quilt will look beautiful on any lap or a twin size bed.

A Week's Stay at a Mrytle Beach, SC Condo

This lovely villa has over 1050 square feet plus a covered lanai overlooking a pond and fountains, and is just steps from the huge, Havens community pool and barbecue area. The master suite has a king-size bed that can be split to make two twins, the second bedroom has two twin beds, and there is a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room!

This comfortable, professionally decorated villa offers dining seating for six inside or you may wish to enjoy your lunch or dinner by the pool where you will find umbrella tables and lounge chairs. This second-floor villa is an end unit offering more space and windows to take in the wonderful views!

We even furnish everything to make you feel right at home, including the bed linens and towels. The fully-stocked kitchen will please everyone in your group. If grilling is your specialty, The Havens has two barbecue grills pool side.

Travel is not included and dates are to be determined with the donor.

Private Yoga Instruction

 Join yoga instructor Liz Falk for two 1-hour sessions of private practice in your home.  No experience or props necessary. Elizabeth Falk has been a yoga practitioner for over 10 years and teaching since 2008.  

A 200 hr Certified Yoga Teacher in the ISHTA lineage (the Integrated Sciences of Hatha, Tantra and Ayurveda), she also holds certification from the Prenatal Yoga Center.  Liz believes that anyone can do yoga, no matter what age or physical ability, and loves to focus on the individual needs of her students. Her classes are a balance of effort, laughter, lightness and relaxation and always includes restorative poses, which she considers vital, especially to New Yorkers.

Printed Photo Portrait by Erik Hup

One printed photo portrait (11"x14") of yourself, your family or your kids at the location of your choice by photographer Erik Hup. 

Originally form the Netherlands, Erik Hup currently lives and works in New York where he uses his camera to document the social landscape. His photography is about the city and the people that live in it. Erik's subjects are captured as part of his documentary photography as well as his portrait photography.
